The eLife software architecture is a lightweight client-server model designed for reliability and flexibility. Built around an optimised core operating system, all extensions are based on common industry product suites making eLife highly scalable and able to concurrently support many backend systems in a single installation.

Integration and programming of HA products is often the most time consuming part of any installation. To assist the HA specialist installer eLife has an optional GUI programming package. By replacing traditional script programming with a modular drag and drop interface, the installer is able to complete system programming in a fraction of the time normally required. No complex programming language skills are required.

eLife is suited to a broad range of installations however it is particularly adept in;

• Active solar applications;
• Where multiple diverse systems require integration;
• Replacing keypads with graphical control;
• C-Bus only electrical control;
• Simplifying management for the non-technically minded

The flexible architecture allows for rapid provision of new device support and custom product interfaces are able to be developed on request. The list of tested third party interfaces is constantly growing.

eLife has no moving parts and operates silently, making it ideal for low noise environments.

The hardware components of the eLife system ensure reliable operation and long service life. A comprehensive twelve month warranty is included in the initial purchase with optional warranty extension packs available.

The eLife system comes packaged with all the parts for a simple physical installation. Rough in plates with matching enclosures allow easy installation into any suitable gyprock wall. Power supplies connect to a standard fixed three pin 10 amp outlet in either the ceiling space or under a kitchen counter or similar. The external bezel is available in various colours and materials to suit the specific installation and can be provided in an undercoat finish to allow the installer to precisely match the clients’ colour requirement.

New releases of the eLife system software can be installed by the HA integrator, providing the homeowner with new functionality as it becomes available. New software releases can be purchased separately or for financial peace of mind provided as part of an annual fee based maintenance service.
