| eLife is best described as a smart touch screen product, designed to integrate and manage all parts of the Home Automation (HA) enabled home. It addresses a common issue in the HA market, the increase of what can commonly be called wall acne, i.e. the requirement to have a variety of fixed (or mobile) controllers to manage the various proprietary systems that make up todays HA enabled home. Examples of common HA systems may include: - Intercom panels;
- Lighting or electrical control panels;
- Home Automation keypads;
- Front door video phones;
- AV controller panels;
- Security systems;
- Motorised Blind systems;
Not only do all these controllers take up wall space but trying to manage them all can seem impossible. All have their own quirky way of doing things which unfortunately seems to be different for each system. This is where the eLife touch screen system comes into its own. eLife is the smart glue for all these proprietary systems, providing a single point of control. A simple, intuitive icon style layout is presented to the user, removing the requirement to be a technical mastermind to operate your HA systems. All back-end system management, regardless of complexity is reduced to uncomplicated look and touch control. This means the home owner can actually use the HA systems in the home, without reaching for a manual, trying to remember which number of the keypad to push or even having to locate the specific proprietary controller to use. |
